AAA: Gas Prices Fall Two Cents
Gasoline prices in Massachusetts are down two cents this week, according to AAA Southern New England.
AAA's January 14th survey of prices in Massachusetts found self-serve, regular unleaded averaging $3.439 per gallon, two cents less than a week ago, according to AAA Southern New England.
Prices locally are down 11 cents over the past month. The current price is 13 cents above the national average for self serve unleaded of $3.30. A year ago at this time the Massachusetts average price was $3.40.
The range in prices in the latest AAA survey for unleaded regular is 60 cents, from a low of $3.25 to a high of $3.85.
In the Yarmouth-Barnstable area the price of a gallon of self-serve regular was $3.57 today and $3.65 a month ago and $3.44 a year ago, according to AAA Southern New England.
