Best of Falmouth/Readers' Choice Poll: Best Places to Celebrate St. Patrick's Day

Vote in this week's poll and defend your choice in the comments section below. Then check back Friday for the winner!

St. Patrick's Day is fast approaching on Saturday, March 17, and Patch wants to know... what's THE best place in Falmouth to celebrate a little Erin-Go-Bragh?

Is it all about the corned beef and cabbage? Great beer? Irish music? Let your neighbors know where you plan to celebrate by voting in the poll below and defending your choice in the comments section!

The choices are: Liam Maguire's Irish Pub and Restaurant, the British Beer Company, J.R. Brody's Roadside Tavern, the Beach House Restaurant, Papa Jake's Sports Bar, the Towne Tavern, Grumpy's Pub, the Quarterdeck Restaurant or the Quahog Republic Dive Bar.

If we left your favorite bar or restaurant off the list, please note that in the comments as well.

We'll leave the poll up all week then close voting at 9am Friday. At noon that day, we'll share your top local pick.

In the meantime, you can always go to our Patch Places page and search for local businesses by category, or write reviews and recommendations!

Due to this poll not being scientific, it is not the sole consideration in choosing a winner. The winner will be determined by the Patch editor, based on poll results and reviews on Patch Places. Please vote only once per survey, per Patch.

BEST PLACE TO BE: At St. Patrick's Church on St. Patrick's Day, to hear the Falmouth Chorale sing Handel's oratorio "SAMSON" at 7:30pm. Eat at the Nimrod first (or afterwards, when there will be plenty of music as well) at a discount by showing your FC ticket! (Or any day in the next week.) You can always go to Liam's for Green Beer and Celtic music after the show! OR hear SAMSON on Sunday afternoon at 3, after Brunch at Coonamessett, who are also offering a discount on that meal if you have a ticket to the FC concert.
