Cape Cod's Angie Miller Makes Top 10 on 'American Idol'
The former Falmouth resident made it through a culling of the contestants on the national singing competition from 20 all the way down to 10.
Fans, friends and relatives of former Cape Cod resident Angie Miller might have gotten a little nervous last night, as the first two women to make the next round in American Idol weren't Angie.
But when host Ryan Seacrest went to tell the third woman the good news, he picked Miller. Whew!
Miller sang a celebratory, "I Was Here," before receiving plaudits from celebrity judge Keith Urban.
"All you needed baby was a break," a smiling Urban told Miller, "a chance for America to listen to you and know who you are. You've got the vocal to burn and the full range. You play piano. You write songs. You look confident. You're just so ready to go, baby. I'm happy for you."
