Cape Cod Chamber Head Elected President of Regional Business Association

The head of the Cape Cod Chamber of Commerce is taking on a new role in business. Wendy Northcross was elected President of the New England Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives (NEACCE).

Wendy Northcross, CEO of the Cape Cod Chamber of Commerce, was appointed to the position at the organization’s annual meeting at the Wequasestt Resort in Chatham this month. The NEACCE is comprised of more than 100 Chamber executives from Rhode Island, Connecticut, Maine, New Hampshire and Massachusetts.

Northcross is excited to take on the new role and collaborate with neighboring states.

“I am honored to have been selected by my peers to lead this organization for the coming year,” Northcross said. “We have just delivered a new website for our members, and we are planning forums on key issues affecting the six New England states such as transportation and health care insurance.”

Northcross previously served as the organization’s Vice President and has been the President of the Cape Cod Chamber of Commerce since 2002.
