Fire at Mahoney’s Garden Center

A fire at Mahoney's Garden Center in Falmouth damaged a garage on the property, a green house attached to the garage likely suffered damage as well. The garden center remains unscathed.

 

Firefighters were called to Mahoney's at about 3:30 p.m. Tuesday. Officials are not yet sure what caused the fire and are investigating the incident.

No one was injured in the blaze.

Mahoney’s Garden Center is a family-run home and garden store with 8 retail locations in Massachusetts, including Winchester, Tewksbury, Wayland, Concord, Brighton, Falmouth, Osterville and Chelmsford.

I know they keep some animals there around the holidays. I was just wondering does anyone know if they are all alright too?

I just spoke to Jan at Mahoney's, no animals or people were injured in the fire. I am working on an update to the story now, so stay tuned. The center is back in business today.
