Five Things You Need to Know Today: Wednesday January 30

The Falmouth Little League created a girls youth softball division, you can register for the new league and baseball tomorrow at the Gus Canty Community Center.

 

 

1. There is a chance of rain today, mainly after 5pm. Patchy fog before 4pm. Otherwise, mostly cloudy, with a high near 57 degrees. Chance of precipitation is 30%, according to the National Weather Service.

2. Falmouth Babe Ruth, Inc. will hold its annual meeting tonight at 7:00 p.m. at The Gus Canty Rec Center

3. Falmouth Community Television (FCTV) will record video valentines for Falmouth residents who have friends and loved ones away from home on military assignments. The messages will be filmed at the FCTV studios on Tuesday, February 5, 2013 between 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. Contact FCTV at 508-457-0800 to learn more and to reserve a time slot.

4. Falmouth Little League has stepped to the plate and created a comprehensive youth softball division for girls ages 7 to 12.  Registration for the upcoming spring season takes place Thursday January 31 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Gus Canty Community Center.
