New Restaurant Opening in Falmouth
The Pickle Jar Kitchen, a new breakfast and lunch eatery, will open Wednesday on Main St.
For Falmouth residents Lis and Kevin Lay and Ben and Casey Gallant opening a restaurant on Main St. is fulfilling a dream.
The couples came up with the idea for the restaurant during get-togethers that involved cooking and in many cases pickles. For them pickles combine sweet, salty and savory flavors in one, much like the future Pickle Jar Kitchen.
Kevin Lay and Ben Gallant will count on their vast experience as executive chef’s at Cape restaurants, including Bleu, The Belfry Inn and Masaki to create a fresh, fun, affordable menu.
The eatery will also feature pastries, cookies and other baked items from Butterqueen Cakes of East Falmouth.
The Pickle Jar Kitchen will be located at 170 Main St. and will serve lunch and breakfast Wednesday through Monday starting at 7 a.m.

Have been acquainted with Ben and Casey and their fine families for many years. Can't imagine their endeavor would be anything but enormously successful. Hard- working, decent folk. The very best to you! Dave Burton
