Off-Duty FBI Agent Takes Gun to East Falmouth Elementary School

Falmouth police were called to East Falmouth Elementary School this morning after someone noticed an off-duty FBI agent was carrying a gun on school property.

Falmouth police said despite the scare students and faculty were not in danger. The agent identifited himself to school officials. Police are familiar with the agent and went to the school to ensure his identity, according to a press release. The agent was at the school to watch a play.

The school was not placed in lockdown. The name of the agent is being withheld at this time.
