Video: Man Charged with Barnstable Bank Robberies Taken to Court
Police escorted 38-year-old Gerard T. Langley of Mashpee into Barnstable District Court this morning. Langley will be arraigned on two counts of armed robbery.
Langley and his girlfriend were arrested yesterday. Police believe the two robbed the Eastern Bank on Route 28 in Marstons Mills yesterday and the Bank of America in Hyannis less than two weeks ago.
According to the Barnstable Police Department, Rogers and Langley confessed to both robberies in sworn statements.Police believe the couple's 11-month-old was with them at the time of both robberies.
