What’s Open, What’s Closed

You may be wondering what is opened and what’s closed in Falmouth today, as Hurricane Sandy approaches.

 

What's closed:

All schools on the Cape, Nantucket and Martha's Vineyard are closed today.

All state offices are closed.

The Steamship Authority canceled all ferries to Martha’s Vineyard and Nantucket.

The Bank of Cape Cod is closed.

Cape Cod Conservatory is closed.

Cape Cod Regional Transit Authority is closed.

Falmouth Public Library is closed.

Cape Cod Healthcare closed all non-hospital-based ouptatient centers, including C-lab, human services and Medical Affiliates of Cape Cod practices. 

Falmouth District Court is closed, with plans to re-open at noon Tuesday October 30th.

Open today:

Cape Cod and Falmouth Hospitals are open.

FYI. The Irish Pub on Main Street in Falmouth is on the same grid as the hospital, so it was one of a very few places you could go out and get something to eat if your power was knocked out.
