Falmouth is set to have a very messy winter Saturday, according to the National Weather Service.

The NWS has issued a Hazardous Weather Outlook for the area with showers likely after midnight tonight, and rain throughout the morning that changes over to snow sometime after 1pm Saturday. The chance of precipitation is 100 percent. The forecast also calls for blustery conditions Saturday night and snow before 11pm.

The wet, snowy conditions will be joined by winds that may exceed 20 mph.

The heaviest snowfall should hit southeastern Massachusetts, but NWS warned that a shift in the storm track could result in changes in the type of precipitation and amount.
