4-H Babysitting Course
Learn to Become a Responsible Babysitter!
The Falmouth Public Library is offering the always popular 4-H Babysitting Course for anyone age 11 and up. This two part course will be held on Saturday, March 9 and Saturday, March 16, 2013 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Main Library at 300 Main Street, Falmouth. Participants must attend both sessions in order to earn a certificate.
4-H Program Associate Mary Nielsen will discuss child safety, first aid & emergencies, feeding & nutrition, discipline, stages of development, entertainment, and the business of babysitting. Students must be at least 11 years old and proof of age is required at the first meeting. A 4-H Babysitting manual is provided. Certificates and I.D. cards will be awarded upon successful completion of the course. Please bring a snack, lunch and a drink. Limited to 15 students.
The 4-H Babysitting course is FREE thanks to generous support from the Friends of the Falmouth Public Library. Registration is required. The beautiful, recently renovated Falmouth Public Library holds the title of being the largest public library on Cape Cod. The Main Library provides services to adults and children such as story times, book groups, summer reading programs and special programs that change throughout the year.
