4-H Babysitting Course
Learn to Become a Responsible Babysitter!
The Falmouth Public Library is offering the always popular 4-H Babysitting Course for anyone age 11 and up. This two part course will be held on Saturday, March 9 and Saturday, March 16, 2013 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Main Library at 300 Main Street, Falmouth. Participants must attend both sessions in order to earn a certificate.
4-H Program Associate Mary Nielsen will discuss child safety, first aid & emergencies, feeding & nutrition, discipline, stages of development, entertainment, and the business of babysitting. Students must be at least 11 years old and proof of age is required at the first meeting. A 4-H Babysitting manual is provided. Certificates and I.D. cards will be awarded upon successful completion of the course. Please bring a snack, lunch and a drink. Limited to 15 students.
The 4-H Babysitting course is FREE thanks to generous support from the Friends of the Falmouth Public Library. Registration is required.
