UPDATE: Feb. 15 is Christmas Tree Disposal Deadline

Here are the five things you need to know before you start your day in Falmouth.

Today is Wednesday, Jan. 15, and here are the five things you need to know

1. It should be another nice day in Falmouth. The National Weather Service is predicting that local residents can expect it to be increasingly cloudy, with a high near 48. Tonight should be mostly cloudy, with a low around 33. (sunrise, 7:04 a.m.; high tide, 10:19 a.m.; low tide, 4:06 p.m.; sunset, 4:39 p.m.)

2. Updated: If you still have a Christmas tree in your living room, you have another month to bring your tree in to the town's compost facility. Feb. 15 is the last day the town will be accepting discarded Christmas trees free of charge at the compost facility on Blacksmith Shop Road. The facility is open from 8:15 a.m. to  3:30 p.m. Editor's note: The original version of this post gave today as the deadline. We regret the error.

3. Everyone is trying to revamp and refresh in the new year and Patch is no different. We’ve just released the latest version of our iPhone app, free for you to download. Click Here for more information.

4. The Falmouth Conservation Commission will meet tonight at Town Hall. The meeting is scheduled to begin in the Town Hall Selectmen's Meeting Room at 7 p.m. Click Here for more information.
