Monday Essentials: What to Know in Falmouth This Week

Sing Verdi, hear organ music, see new artworks and more: Five events coming up this week in and around Falmouth. For more things to do, check our Events calendar. Did we miss something? Tell us in the comments.

  1. Falmouth selectmen meet in public session Mondays  at 7 p.m. This week's agenda includes a 6:30 p.m. executive session.
  2. Tuesday, take part in Falmouth Chorale's Open Sing: Verdi Requiem at 7 p.m. at John Wesley United Methodist Church. Free.
  3. Wednesday brings the last Noontunes Summer Concert of the season at Church of the Messiah in Woods Hole, with Joseph Arndt, organist performing a 45-minute lunchtime program of early organ works by composers including Bach and Bruhns. Free-will offering. 
  4. Thursday, the Falmouth Artists Guild hosts a free art exhibit of new artwork from faculty and students of the Falmouth Arts Center. Free.
  5. Friday, there's an opening and reception for the show starting at 5 p.m. Free.
