New Menu Debuts at Falmouth Heights Pub
Five things to do and know about in Falmouth this Friday, Jan. 17, 2014.
1. Eat: The British Beer Company has introduced a new menu at its Falmouth Heights pub. A sampling posted on Facebook Thursday included Cod Rarebit, Bison Burger, Andouille Scotch Eggs and Poblano Steak. 263 Grand Ave., 508- 540-9600.
2. Share: At 6:45 p.m. Friday, the Falmouth Jewish Congregation, Blance & Joel D. Seifer Community Center, 7 Hatchville Road, presents a Film Screening & Potluck Dinner featuring "Soundtrack for a Revolution." Free, bring a dish to share that does not include pork or shellfish.
3. Skate: Public skating at the Falmouth Ice Arena on Fridays is from 7:40 p.m. to 9 p.m.
4. Coach: On Facebook, Falmouth Exchange passes on "a reminder Falmouth Soccer Club President Derek Silcox is looking for a few coaches for 2 boys u8, boys u9 and one girls u13 team. The league is a travel league and had a large turnout of kids due to the success of the program. Please message me if you would be willing to coach a team!"
