UPDATED Public Skating, Help Wanted, Vandals Sought by State Police

Five things to do and know in Falmouth this Tuesday, Nov. 5, 2013.

Updated 11 a.m. with new skating hours from Falmouth Ice Arena:

  1. Beginning Nov. 5, the public skating schedule at the Falmouth Ice Arena is as follows: Tuesday from 3:50 p.m. to 4:50 p.m. (mini), Thursday from noon to 1:30 p.m. and Friday from 7:40 p.m. to 9 p.m. (NHL). "There will no longer be a noon skate on Tuesdays," the Ice Arena posted on its Facebook page.

  3. Would you rather volunteer your time? The Falmouth Hospital Thrift Shop on the corner of Palmer Avenue and Ter Heun Drive needs volunteers to do a variety of retail-related tasks, such as ringing in sales, stocking shelves, sorting and pricing donations, and shop upkeep.
