Hours: Wednesday 4-6 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. For more information, call 508-540-5654. Find out more about Esme here.

2. The third annual David's Old Silver Swim will take place at Old Silver Beach in North Falmouth on Saturday, Aug. 17. The open water half-mile or one-mile swim is a fun swim with all proceeds going to Compassionate Care ALS. To learn more, visit www.davidsoldsilverswim.com

3. Head over to Mashpee Commons today to create a 16x20 acrylic painting with The Cape Cod Art Bar. All materials will be provided, including brushes and full length apron. Experienced, professional artists to see you through start to finish!

4. The next concert in the 2013 Noontunes Summer Concert Series continues on Friday at 7 p.m. at the Church of the Messiah in Woods Hole! This week, check out organist Stephen Buzard, who will present a program of organ works by Bach, Buxtehude, Bruhns, Mendelssohn and others.

5. In Case You Missed It: Falmouth Community Television's quarterly news magazine TV program, "The Village Green", has a new edition airing on FCTV-Public Access Channel 13. Filmed in part in Falmouth center, the half-hour program aims to inspire viewers to get out and enjoy everything Falmouth has to officer. The program can also be viewed on demand at fctv.org. Those with story ideas that would make for an interesting segment on the program are encouraged to contact Basia Goszczynska at basia@fctv.org or call 508-457-0800.
