Weather Disruptions Expected at Steamship Authority
Five things to know this Tuesday as the Polar Vortex returns to the Cape and Islands.
1. With a Blizzard Watch Declared for the Cape and Islands beginning Tuesday afternoon, we've opened the Falmouth Storm Center 2014, where you can check for the latest storm information with cancellations, closures and forecasts updated as they come in.
2. Monday evening, the Steamship Authority announced that the ferry line "anticipates possible service disruptions Tuesday evening into Wednesday."
3. Tuesday, Liam Maguire's hosts Karaoke with DJ Andy, starting at 9 p.m. Free admission.
4. Want to take a brisk walk or shoot some hoops, regardless of winter weather? The Falmouth Recreation Department wants us to know that Adult Walking is available in the gymnasium Monday through Friday 8-9 AM and 11 a.m. to noon, followed by Adult Basketball until 2:30 p.m.
5.
