When is the Veterans Day Parade in Falmouth?
Monday morning, Falmouth salutes its veterans. While there's no community-wide parade, local honor guards and a bagpipe band will escort veterans from the Village Green to the library lawn for an 11 a.m. ceremony.
According to local newspapers, no formal municipal parade is planned for Veterans Day in Falmouth. But we can still turn out to honor our veterans and active service members of the U.S. Armed Forces:
At 10:45 a.m. Monday, veterans are invited to march with local honor guards and a bagpipe band from the Falmouth Village Green to the Veterans Day ceremony on the Falmouth Public Library lawn on Main Street, the Cape Cod Times reports.
Veterans and their spouses are also invited to a free breakfast at the Coonamessett Inn from 8 to 10 a.m., with speakers including U.S. Rep. William Keating and Col. James M. LaFavor, commander at Otis Air Base, the Times notes.
