Sea Crest Beach Hotel and the Falmouth Commodores will put Boston Red Sox fans’ off-season jitters to rest with the second annual Falmouth Hot Stove Event on Jan. 16 featuring Boston Red Sox manager John Farrell and Hall of Fame baseball columnist Peter Gammons. Baseball fans can take advantage of this unique opportunity to ask questions, meet, and take photos with the 2013 World Series champions’ manager at Sea Crest Beach Hotel’s newly renovated Nauset Center. The 2013 World Series Trophy will also be on display for photo opportunities. The Hot Stove Event kicks off at 6:30 p.m. with social hour and registration featuring raffles, refreshments and hors d'oeuvres. A cash bar will also be available. At 7:30 p.m. John Farrell, Peter Gammons, and Falmouth Commodores head coach Jeff Trundy will take the stage to discuss Cape Cod baseball and its importance in major league baseball.
