Blackie is a young, handsome black domestic short hair male, with a white accent patch on his chest, and large double paws. He is a former feral that was found fending for himself while he was living in an abandoned home in East Falmouth. One of our volunteers started feeding him and brought him to the shelter. Blackie is quite shy around people and needs an extremely patient, caring individual who can earn his trust and establish a bond with him. While at People for Cats, he has learned to trust and become attached to a few volunteers and with these people he is quite sweet and lovable. He is a bright, playful, and curious kitty, who loves to stick his head in pockets and boots scouting for whatever he can find.
Blackie would do best in a quiet peaceful adult home, without children or other pets. He also definitely needs to be an indoor only cat. Stan, one of our volunteers, has been Blackie’s closest friend at the shelter and any potential adopter would definitely benefit from talking with him.
