People for Cats, IZZY

Izzy is an elegant, young two-toned gray domestic long hair female. This girl is quite striking looking, with soft dark-gray outer fur underlain with lighter-gray inner fur, and beautiful copper-colored eyes. She is one year old, small in stature, and slender. Everyone who sees Izzy comments that she is a beautiful, striking looking cat. When Izzy first came to PFC she spent all her time hiding in a cat bed or buried under a blanket in her cage. As time has passed, she has been steadily gaining confidence and is starting to show what a little “love-bug” she can be when given gentle encouragement. This little girl now readily stretches out to be admired, happily purrs when we pet her, and actively seeks interaction with our volunteers. Izzy has also started showing a very playful personality, merrily bouncing toys around her in her cage and batting at any wand toys that appear in her vicinity.

Izzy is a shy and submissive kitty that is not comfortable around other cats. She definitely prefers humans. As a result, she would probably do best as the only pet in a quiet household. Once this beautiful girl gets used to her new owner she will blossom into a friendly and loving cat.
