People for Cats: Jewels

Jewels is a precious dilute tortoiseshell domestic shorthair female. Her coat is mostly a soft gray overlain with a marbling of muted orange. This pretty girl is one year old, has beautiful golden eyes and is medium in size. She is sweet, interactive, very friendly, and has an adorable little growl that she sometimes uses as a greeting. Being a young cat she is also quite lively and playful. Jewels has been micro-chipped and was surrendered because her owner was transferred by the military and could not take her along. This girl would probably do well in just about any family situation. She has lived with other cats and a dog, and is reported to be good with young children. So if you are seeking a playful, spunky, interactive young kitty this sweetheart may be a good match for you.

If you would like to visit with this lively young girl, or one of our other equally charming kitties, come in to the shelter at 44 Beagle Lane in Teaticket. We are open to the public on Wednesdays from 4 to 6 p.m., Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., or call our hotline for an appointment. Hotline: 508-540-5654.
