People for Cats, Missy

Missy is a cute green-eyed, brown tabby female with an overlay of dilute tortoiseshell coloration, resulting in a soft and subdued coat pattern. Cats with this mix of tiger and tortie coloration are also known as “torbies”. This young girl (approximately 2-3 years old) was a stray found in the Bluffs area of North Falmouth. She is medium-sized, has a sweet temperament, and is calm and friendly. Missy is quite laid back and gets along with the other cats in her suite. She can usually be found on an upper shelf of the suite, but will readily come down for pets and scratches when invited. This quiet, friendly girl is not pushing for attention, but readily accepts affection when it is directed at her. Due to her calm and gentle nature, Missy would do well with any family.

If you would like to visit with this “torbie” sweetheart, or one of our other equally charming kitties, come in to the shelter at 44 Beagle Lane in Teaticket. We are open to the public on Wednesdays from 4 to 6 p.m., Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., or call our hotline for an appointment. Hotline: 508-540-5654.
