People for Cats: Panda

Panda is an adorable white and black Persian male. This gorgeous boy has lovely long white fur accented by a black partial mask, and black pantaloons and tail. He is very striking looking and as is typical of the breed he is quite laid back. This pretty boy is 2 years old, medium in size, has beautiful golden eyes, and has never met a person he doesn’t like. When visitors enter Panda’s suite he comes flying over to receive attention in the form of pets and scratches, and then rolls over at the slightest provocation inviting a tummy rub. Can you tell that we are quite smitten with this sweetheart? The down side to Panda is that Persians are high maintenance cats. Their long fur needs to be brushed daily or it will easily mat. Their eyes frequently need to be cleaned daily to prevent unsightly crust and stains from developing around the eyes. Equally important is that Persians need and crave companionship. This is not the type of kitty you can leave home alone all day and expect to have a happy cat. On the up side, this boy would repay all the attention you give him in kind by being a total love-bug.
