Pumpkin is an adorable torbie domestic short hair female with pale green eyes. A “torbie” is basically a tabby kitty with a light overlay of some tortoiseshell markings, usually the orange marbling. This sweet medium-sized girl is seven years young. Pumpkin absolutely loves attention and readily repays it in kind. She greets visitors with head-butts, rubbing against their legs, and dispensing kisses when someone pays attention to her. She was surrendered with her daughter to our shelter because their owner’s living circumstances changed. Her daughter has been adopted, so now it is time for Pumpkin to find her special forever home.
Pumpkin’s laidback personality would make her a good choice for any type of family, although she would probably do best in a quiet household without small children. She has adjusted to living in a suite, which shows she could be comfortable with another friendly cat. So if you are looking for a calm, friendly female kitty, that has the potential for being a real “lap cat”, this girl may be just the right cat for you.
