People for Cats: Tammy

Tammy is a pretty, long-haired, gray female with some very subtle tabby markings. This medium sized girl was found as a stray near the North Falmouth elementary school and is estimated to be around 8 years old. She is a total sweetheart with a very big purr to show how contented she is when we pay her a little attention. She is even tempered, gentle, and quite affectionate, frequently head-butting your hand for a few more pets. Tammy would make an excellent companion for someone who is looking for an affectionate, interactive lap cat. She has been spayed, and is ready for a comfortable indoor home with a special someone. This girl might prefer to be an only cat or could possibly live with another gentle, non-aggressive cat. Our adoption fee for a cat 8 or older is half of the regular fee.

If you would like to visit with this affectionate “purr-machine”, or one of our other equally charming kitties, come in to the shelter at 44 Beagle Lane in Teaticket. We are open to the public on Wednesdays from 4 to 6 p.m., Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., or call our hotline for an appointment. Hotline: 508-540-5654.
