People for Cats:Opal,Mittens

Opal and Mittens are two beautiful, exotic looking blue-eyed sisters that just came in to the shelter. They are half Siamese, with striking cream-colored coats overlain with very dilute tortoiseshell coloring. Opal is the paler of the two, while Mittens having a bit of black mixed into her coat is darker. They are shorthaired, medium to large in size and 5 ½ years old. Both girls are initially a bit shy, but they are real “love-bugs” if you spend a little bit of time getting to know them. Opal is the more outgoing of the two, readily head-butting for more pets and rubbing against volunteers to get attention. If one sits down with her she’ll start kneading and purring up a storm. Her only drawback is that she is a bit chubby and could afford to loose a little weight. Mittens is the more reserved of the two, but she is just as affectionate once she warms up to a person.

These two girls were surrendered to PFC because their owner had to go to a nursing home. Since they have always lived together, we would prefer to adopt them together to the same home. So if you are looking for a pair of sweet, affectionate, striking beauties these sisters may be just the kitties for you. They would probably do best in a quiet calm home, where they can get the attention and love they deserve.
