  • The Steamship Authority has suspended service until weather conditions improve.

  • The Steamship Authority has cancelled the 6 a.m. , 6:15 a.m. and 7 a.m. sailings from Woods Hole and Vineyard Haven and the 7:15 a.m. from Vineyard Haven.

  • The 8:30 p.m. ferry from Woods Hole to Martha's Vineyard is canceled.
  • The Falmouth Service Center will be closed Friday.

  • Gov. Patrick has announced that state offices will be closed Friday and he is urging people to stay off the roads tonight and tomorrow, although he has not announced any highway closures.

  • There will be no men's over 40 basketball this evening in Falmouth.

  • Liberty Chalkboard's free movie night at the Falmouth Public Library has been canceled due to the storm and rescheduled for Tuesday, Jan. 7th at 6:30 pm.

  • Ryan Family Amusements is closing at 4 p.m. Thursday. 
  • The Falmouth Public Library remains open, but there will be no book club meetings today or tomorrow.
