Five Things to Know Today: Friday January 11

Here's a look at what's happening today in Falmouth.

1. There will be partly cloudy skies in Falmouth this morning, then becoming overcast this afternoon. Today’s high is 42F. Winds E at 5 to 10 mph.

2. Patchwork Quilters of Cape Cod meets at the Falmouth Senior Center every Friday from 10am to 2pm.  All finished quilts go to children at risk. 

3. Artwork by David F. Kelley will be on display today at the Maser Gallery at Falmouth Community Television from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

4. Eight Cousins Books is hosting an Event with John Barylick tonight from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. Barylick wrote  Killer Show: The Station Nightclub Fire, America’s Deadliest Rock Concert. The event is free to attend and begins with wine and nibbles. Barylick will speak for about 30-45 minutes, leaving time at the end for questions, discussion, and book signing.
 
5. You can hear Liam himself perform tonight at Liam Maguire's Irish Pub on Main St. There is no charge for the show; music begins at 8:30 p.m.
