Weekend Planner: December 10-11

A holiday house tour and more for this coming weekend.

Ornament Making Workshop:  is offering an on Saturday, December 10 at 10am for children ages 4-12 years old, accompanied by a parent. The cost is $10 per child. For more information or to sign up, please call 508-548-4857.

Celebrate an Old-Fashioned Christmas: The has decked the halls in honor of the upcoming holidays and invites you to come in and see Christmas, 18th century-style, at the Conant House and the Dr. Francis Wicks House. Open Saturday and Sunday from 1-4pm.

Holiday House Tour: The is hosting its 35th Annual Holiday House Tour and Boutique on Sunday, December 11 from 12-4pm. The tour will visit some of the most fabulous homes on the Upper Cape, artfully dressed for the holiday season! The Boutique will offer a wide variety of handcrafted gifts and decorations made by local craftsmen and artisans. Tickets will be available at the Library, Bojangles, Eight Cousins, Jack in the Beanstalk, New Wave Printing, Uncle Bill’s Country Store, Uptown Dog Cape Cod, West Falmouth Market, Woods Hole Market, and the Puritan Shop at Mashpee Commons.

The Best Christmas Pageant Ever: The Falmouth Theatre Guild presents  on December 10 and 11 at 4pm at the . Get into the Christmas spirit with this delightful holiday romp!

Falmouth Chorale: On This Shining Night: The Falmouth Chorale’s production of  will take place at the on Saturday, December 10 at 4pm and 7:30pm and Sunday, December 11 at 3pm. Robert Wyatt will lecture for one hour before each show. This performance is based on James Agee's poem Sure on This Shining Night, and is set to the music of Morten Lauridsen and will include Bach's Wachet auf, ruft uns die Stimme, Mendelssohn's There Shall a Star Come Out of Jacob and John Rutter's Star Carol.
