Weekend Planner: November 12-13

The Story of Frank Sinatra and more for this coming weekend.

Second Annual Neighborhood Toy Store Day  is holding its  on Saturday, November 12 from 9:30am-5:30pm. This fun event will feature a scavenger hunt, face painting, balloons, refreshments, product demos and more!

The Story of Frank Sinatra  Highfield Hall hosts Robert Wyatt as he gives a lecture/recital titled "" on Saturday, November 12 at 10am. Mr. Wyatt will tell the story of Frank Sinatra's rise to fame from his humble start as a singing waiter. Tickets are $20 in advance or $25 at the door.

“South of Southie Festival” Movie   The will be honoring South Shore talent with its  on Saturday, November 12 at 1:30pm, featuring the film Gone, Baby, Gone (2007, Rated R), starring Casey Affleck, Michelle Monaghan, Morgan Freeman, and Ed Harris.

Jesus Christ Superstar  The ’s production of will wrap up this weekend on Friday and Saturday evening at 7:30pm and Sunday at 2pm. Don't miss this wonderful and compelling musical. Tickets are $14-$16.

John Murelle Sings the Songs of Duke Ellington  The presents "In a Sentimental Mood: " on Sunday, November 13 at 3pm. Murelle will be accompanied by William Merrill on the piano. Additionally, author Mike Carlon of Riding on the Duke's Train will give a pre-show talk on "The Duke." Tickets are $15 and will be available during regular library hours or at the door on the day of the concert.
