Gosnold, Falmouth Hospital Collaboration Project Honored

A program designed to streamline addiction treatment with healthcare in Falmouth got top honors at a recent awards ceremony in Natick.

The Gosnold treatment center teamed up with Falmouth Hospital to train hospital staff to recognize withdrawal symptoms and treat patients accordingly.

The Association for Behavioral Healthcare recognized the program at its annual Salute to Excellence event October 19th. The ABH presented Falmouth Hospital and Gosnold officials with the “Excellence in Outcomes” award.

“Our Salute to Excellence event enables us to honor people like the individuals involved with the Gosnold-Falmouth Hospital Collaboration Project who work each day to make life better for individuals and families affected by addiction,” Vic DiGravio, ABH President/CEO said in a statement.
