Weekend Planner: September 24-25

The Feasts of Falmouth and more for this coming weekend's events.

Feasts of Falmouth   (VIPS) will sponsor its 10th Annual Feasts of Falmouth and Beyond 2011 on Saturday, September 24th, from 11am-2pm at the on Scranton Avenue. This magnificent food fair will showcase the yummy fare from some of the region’s best caterers and restaurants; from soup to nuts, as Sister Spin cranks out the tunes. Free face painting will be available, too. Tickets are $20. 

Camp Edwards Open House  Camp Edwards Massachusetts Military Reservation will hold an on Saturday, September 24th and Sunday, September 25th, from 9am to 2pm.  This event will feature games for children and adults, concession stands, artillery and weapons displays, environmental displays, Revolutionary War, Civil War, and WWII encampments, military vehicle and aircraft displays and much more.

Touch a Truck  The 's Touch A Truck Event will take place in the parking lot on Gifford Street Extension, on Saturday, September 24th, from 10am-2pm (with a rain date of Sunday, September 25th). Truck lovers will have a great time checking out the vehicles on display. There will be trucks and construction and safety vehicles of all sorts.

Oil Painting Exhibit   The Old Selectmen's Artist Gallery presents  an oil painting exhibit by Pat Nickerson, on Saturday, 10am-4pm and Sunday from 12-4pm.

Flower Show  in Sandwich will host a Bi-Annual Flower Show by the Southeastern District Design and Horticulture Study Group on Friday, September 23rd, Saturday, September 24th and Sunday, September 25th, from 10am-5pm in the Herald Center.
