What's Open, Closed in Falmouth Labor Day

There's no mail delivery Monday and town offices are closed, but many restaurants, package stores and other retailers are open at their proprietors' discretion. Call before you go. You can find Falmouth business listings in our Businesses section.

Happy Labor Day! This holiday is short on obligations — no special meals, gifts or observations required — and long on relaxation, grilling and fun.

Libraries, banks, municipal offices and post offices are closed. Most Monday municipal meetings are shifted to Tuesday.

Shops, restaurants, liquor stores and other businesses are open at the management's discretion: Call before you go. You can find phone numbers by searching our Businesses section.

Public beaches
are open, though the forecast is for less-than-perfect beach weather with scattered thundershowers and a 50 percent chance of rain, temperatures in the mid to upper 70s.
