How Many Millionaires Live in Falmouth?

There was one millionaire, with an average 2011 income of $1,605,000, for every 900 residents of Falmouth, where the per capita 2010 income was $30,119.

Falmouth had 35 residents with 2011 incomes of $1 million or more, according to a report in the Boston Business Journal.

That's a 40 percent increase over 2010, when the town had just 25 millionaires. It's also more millionaires than the whole island of Martha's Vineyard can claim.

Falmouth is short of the Massachusetts average by community, which was 51, but higher than the state median, which was 14.

Boston, Newton, Wellesley, Weston and Cambridge were the top five communities for millionaires, according to the BBJ.
