New Name for Old Leeside: State Your Choice
Will it be Quicks Hole Tavern? Quicks Hole Galley? Help Beth Colt name her new bar and restaurant at the old Leeside site.
After announcing on Facebook that she was planning to reopen the Leeside as Quicks Hole Boathouse, owner Beth Colt received a lot of complaints about the new name (see Woods Hole Innkeeper's 'Boathouse' Plan for Leeside Sparks Comments, Nov. 11).
So Colt has decided to let the public weigh in on a selection of potential names for the former Leeside, which she hopes to reopen as a tavern later this month and add a full restaurant by late January (see From Hollywood to Woods Hole with Beth Colt, Nov. 18).
Colt is tallying shares on Facebook to gauge support for the following possible names:
- Quicks Hole Galley
- Quicks Hole Boathouse
- Quicks Hole Kitchen & Tavern
- Quicks Hole Tavern
Monday morning, Quicks Hole Tavern was leading with 36 shares, compared to 13 for Quicks Hole Galley, five for Quicks Hole Kitchen & Tavern and two for Quicks Hole Boathouse.
