Cape Cod Community College to Offer Healthcare Program on Martha’s Vineyard

The island has a growing need for more healthcare professionals and Cape Cod Community College is helping to meet that need.

Cape Cod Community College will soon bring its healthcare program courses to Martha's Vineyard.

The Island has many healthcare employers in need of a qualified workforce, including Martha’s Vineyard Regional Hospital, Windemere Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, and the Vineyard Nursing Association.

Within the year the College will offer an LPN to RN transition program.

An information session with  College officials will be held Tuesday, January 8 at 11 a.m. and 5 p.m. in the Library Conference Room at  Martha’s Vineyard Regional High School.

Anyone interested or who thinks they might be interested in CCCC healthcare courses, especially its LPN to  RN transition program, is encouraged to attend one of the sessions. Advisors will be available throughout the day to provide individual advising about the LPN to RN program, course schedules, testing, and financial aid.
