Auditions for Falmouth Theatre Guild's "39 Steps"

Auditions for “39 Steps”

Mix a Hitchcock masterpiece with a juicy spy novel, add a dash of Monty Python and you have “The 39 Steps,” a fast-paced whodunit for anyone who loves the magic of theater.
The Falmouth Theatre Guild is holding auditions for “39 Steps,” beginning Tuesday, November 12 at 6:30 PM at Highfield Theatre.
The second audition will be on Friday, November 15 at 6:30 PM at Highfield Theatre.
Callbacks will be Saturday, November 16 at 7:30 PM at the theater.
The show, Broadway's longest running comedy, played its 500th performance in May 2009.
Numerous zany characters are played by a cast of four.
The plot begins as a man with a boring life meets a woman with a thick accent who says she's a spy.
When he takes her home, she is murdered. Soon a mysterious organization called the 39 Steps is hot on a man's trail in a nationwide manhunt that ends in a death-defying finale.
The show runs January 31, February 1 and 2; and February 7 to 9 at Highfield Theatre in Falmouth.
