Big Spring Book Sale

            The Woods
Hole Public Library will be holding a big
Spring book sale on Saturday, April 19 from 10 AM-5PM.
This particularly large sale has become an annual event as the book sale
committee performs a rite of “Spring cleaning”, clearing the way for loads of new
books to come in for sequential sales. However, the book sale committee led by
Camilla Larrey and Susan Fishbein, both retired librarians, have been constantly
replenishing the shelves. It is due to them that the books are in such good order,
arranged by subject, and the fiction arranged alphabetically by author.

            The whole large
room in the Library’s lower level will be filled with books, all reasonably priced.
Most hard-backed books cost $2 and most large paper-backs are $1.  In this one day event, there will be a very
special price of a Bag-o-Books for $5.

            The book
sales are a major fund-raiser for the Library, and the public eagerly looks
forward to them. For more information, either call the Library at 508-548-8961
or visit the website www.woodsholepubliclibrary.org.
