Breakfast with the Authors

Fall in love with Falmouth!  Join us Thursday, July 31 for a
FREE, light buffet breakfast at the Falmouth Public Library.  Beginning at 10 AM, 4 local authors will
share their love of Falmouth & the Cape as expressed in their new books. 



Troy Clarkson grew up in Falmouth and writes a popular weekly
column for the Falmouth Enterprise.  He
will be talking about his book Succanessett

, drawing on some of his most memorable columns.



 Falmouth
resident & history buff Les Garrick is known for his open minded curiosity.
His new book Historic Hatchville begins
with the first Hatch settler in 1740 & follows  the rise of the
cranberry, poultry & dairy industries, as well as the transition of
Coonamessett Ranch as  modern residents
resisted development pressures in the 1980’s.

Kathleen Brunelle, born & raised on the Cape, is
the author of Highfield & Tanglewood.  This book is a history of the two 19th
century Beebe family summer mansions (called “cottages”) in
Falmouth where her .  Her grandparents were the
caretakers of the two landmark dwellings and grounds. 



The book In
My Footsteps,
by 12th generation Cape Codder Christopher Setterlund,
describes memorable locations on the Cape including beautiful beaches, historic
homes, and lighthouses. He reaches beyond scenery and goes deeper into the soul the Cape Cod.
