Contemporary Relevance of Frankestein

Falmouth readers continue the discussion of Mary Shelley’s
classic book FRANKENSTEIN: or the Modern Prometheus.  The public is invited to attend Understanding
the Other: the Human in
the Monster & the Monster in the Human,
a panel featuring local experts.  The speakers
are psychotherapist Alice Kociemba discussing spiritual and emotional issues;
attorney Camala Richardson will talk about personal responsibility and
ethics.  Emerson College media studies
professor David Kociemba will explore why Frankenstein’s monster is a cultural
icon.  This 2014 Falmouth Reads Together event is FREE of charge and open to the
public. The program takes place at the Falmouth Public Library, 300 Main Street
on Saturday, February 8 at 2 PM.
