ANNOUNCES 25TH ANNIVERSARY GALA, “ESTUARIES, OYSTERS AND ART”

The Waquoit Bay National Estuarine Research Reserve is celebrating 25 years of research, education and stewardship.  The Estuaries, Oysters and Art event will be held on Saturday, August 10. The event co-sponsored by the Falmouth Artist Guild and Washburn Island Oysters will be an enchanting evening on the bluff overlooking beautiful Waquoit Bay.  The evening will feature the works of 25 local artists, live bluegrass music with Phil and Daniel Rosenthal (Seldom Scene), a silent auction, extensive hors d’hoeuvres including Washburn Island Oysters, and an open bar.  Tickets are available now at www.waquoitbayreservefoundation.org.
