Comedy Night at the Beach House Restaurant

Falmouth’s own Wayne Soares will headline Comedy Night at the Beach House Restaurant in Falmouth on Saturday June 29th at 9 pm. Tickets are $20 at the door. Boston comedians Justin Drew and Craig Martin will also be appearing.

The event is a fundraiser for Team Maureen, a Falmouth based cycling team that is riding in the Pan Mass Challenge (PMC) Charity Ride on August 3rd. 100% of all money raised by the PMC goes directly to Dana Farber Cancer Institute for cancer research and treatment. The Pan Mass Challenge is the largest athletic fund raising event in the country and is Dana Farber’s single largest contributor. Since 1980 the PMC has raised more than 325 million dollars.

Wayne Soares is a former broadcaster for ESPN, Fox Sports and the New York Mets. Mr. Soares recently returned from entertaining our troops in Iraq and hosting a charity golf tournament in Dallas, Texas for the Fallen Heroes Memorial Project.  He appeared in the movie Blind Pass starring Armand Assante and won a major role in the sequel, Serenade. He will soon begin shooting his new TV pilot Cruisin’ With Class in Sarasota Florida.
