Renowned Boston-based band to play free show at The Beach House this weekend

Richard James & The Name Changers, who have been making a big name for themselves on the national music scene, will present a free concert on the Cape this weekend.  The Beach House Restaurant will welcome the band on Saturday, February 9th at 9 PM.  This is a release party for their new “Cuba St” CD and will include special guest Brain Sances and The Big 3. The show is presented by Naukabout Beer and Secret Sessions Boston.

Richard James & The Name Changers are the cornerstone of Boston's thriving music scene, with the resume to match. In the fall of 2012 the band released their sophomore album Cuba St., which is now in its second pressing. Much of the continued success of the band can be attributed to their appearances at several music show cases during the 2012 SXSW Music Festival in Austin TX and Jam Scene Music Festivals throughout the North East and Eastern Canada.

With a rock solid, dedicated fanbase endlessly following the band, RJNC has had the luxury of being the band that Promoters and Agents call on to support National acts all over New England. From Burlington VT, to Portland ME and back to Boston, the band has rocked audiences alongside Big Sam's Funky Nation, Rubblebucket, Max Creak, Soule Monde, Spiritual Rez, Kung Fu, Indobox, Normal Instruments and Ghosts of Jupiter.

The Beach House is located on the corner of Routes 28A and 151 in North Falmouth. For more information, call 508-564-5029 or visit www.thebeachhouserestaurant.com.  There is no cover charge for the show.
