Joy Around the World

Falmouth Chorale presents “Joy Around the World” in three concerts: Saturday, December 14th, 2013 at 4:00 p.m. and 7:30 p.m and Sunday, December 15th, 2013 at 3:00 p.m. at the First Congregational Church, on the Village Green, Falmouth

For our much anticipated holiday concert, Artistic Director John Yankee has collected festive music from many cultures. Featured pieces include Buxtehude’s Das Neugebor’ne Kindelein (Germany), Holst’s Christmas Day (England) and Paul Basler’s “Gloria” from Missa Kenya. Music from Spain, Scandinavia, Latin America and Israel – along with traditional audience participation – will round out this exuberant program. Falmouth Chorale will be joined by baritone Philip Lima and accompanied by strings, percussion and piano.  This concert sells out fast!
