MBL Summer Concert

The MBL is pleased to welcome the return of Curtis On Tour, which brings the extraordinary artistry of the world-renowned Curtis Institute of Music to audiences around the globe. The 2014 New England tour features a string chamber orchestra performing Antonio Vivaldi’s iconic The Four Seasons paired with Ástor Piazzolla’s Cuatro Estaciones Porteñas (The Four Seasons of Buenos Aires). For these four tango works by Piazzolla, current students will be joined by Curtis alumna violinist Elissa Lee Koljonen. The concert will be followed by a champagne and dessert reception. 

Tickets for the concert and reception are sold separately. Concert tickets range from $20-$150 and will be available at the door or until sold out. Reception tickets are $100. Proceeds will support the MBL’s renowned research and educational programs.
