Colloquium: Conservation of Polar Species Endangered by Climate Change
Sunday, Monday and Tuesday, May 4 - 6, 2014 in Redfield Auditorium
The goal of this colloquium is to bring policy and science together to discuss
and develop conservation strategies for species endangered by climate change in
Earth’s Polar Regions.
To communicate the seriousness of this global problem and to develop
conservation strategies for endangered polar species, a program of
presentations examining current policy and science will be held on Sunday, May
4th, at 6:30 pm in Redfield Auditorium at a public forum titled “From
Penguins to Polar Bears: Impacts of Climate Change.” For

The forum will be followed by a two days of seminars science workshop.
Staff and students from Woods Hole Institutions are invited to attend the

A related art exhibit featuring watercolors by Aurélie Lebrun du
Puytison and photographs by Chris Linder will be held in the Woods Hole
Community Hall on Sat. - Sun., May 3-4 and Sat. - Sun., May 10 - 11.
