"Photographers' Choice" - The Upper Cape Camera Club

Photographers' Choice – An exhibition of photographs by members of the Upper Cape Camera Club will be on display at the Maser Gallery at Falmouth Community Television, 310A Dillingham Avenue, from February 2 through February 28, 2014.  All photographs will be for sale.

The Upper Cape Camera Club is comprised of approximately 50 members from the Upper Cape area, ranging in age from high school students to retirees with a range of skills from beginners to professionals.

Since its founding in 2004, the Upper Cape Camera Club has been steadily increasing its membership roster. Combining educational programs with show-and-tell nights, members learn how to see and take better photographs from their peers as well as from guest speakers who are professional commercial photographers and photojournalists from the State of Massachusetts and Rhode Island.

The club is a member of the regional New England Camera Club Council (NECC) with member clubs throughout New England. The Council supplies each member club with supporting materials and hosts an annual conference of photography one weekend in July at the UMASS-Amherst campus.

Many of the members show in juried and non-juried shows in Falmouth and with other Cape-wide organizations. Club meetings are held on the second and fourth Wednesday evenings at 7 pm at the Falmouth Art Center on Gifford Street, Falmouth.

Exhibit Hours: Sunday & Monday, 2-10 p.m.
Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, 10 -10 p.m.
Friday 10-6 p.m.
