The Artists of Studio 35 - Fairwinds Clubhouse

Artwork by the artists of Studio 35 Art Center at Fairwinds Clubhouse, Falmouth will be on display from Friday, November 1 to Friday, December 6, 2013 at the Maser Gallery at Falmouth Community Television, 310A Dillingham Avenue, Falmouth.

The public is invited to attend the Opening Reception on Sunday, November 10, from 3:00 - 5:00 pm at the gallery.

Studio 35 Art Center is an integral part of Fairwinds Clubhouse, a Falmouth community organized to support individuals living with the effects of mental illness. Through participation in the Clubhouse, members have the opportunities to rejoin the worlds of friendships, family, important work, employment, education, and access to the services and support they may individually need. The Clubhouse is a restorative environment for people who have had their lives disrupted, and need the support of others who believe that recovery from mental illness is possible for all.

Personal expression through artwork has long been known to be therapeutic for the artist as well as the viewer. Maser Gallery welcomes the unique work of the artists of Studio 35.
